Today was the day that I realized I wasn't going to be staying with my company for very long.

I never much appreciated being ignored in a conversation.  The least you can say is, "no" or "I don't really want to talk to you," but ignoring the existence of someone is reaching out to talk to you in a non-threatening manner is off-putting, if not flat-out cold.  I'm glad I was given dignity once before in my life, at least.

All we want in life is for someone to just "get" us.  That's all I want.

Revealing how you feel about someone when you've held it on your chest forever and a half is pretty terrifying and just generally unsavory ( Read more... )

kinda fell off the wagon of P90X, but at least I've still been working out every day.

On the plus/minus side, I got to spend time with a certain stereotypically midwestern guy I'll never have a chance with.  It was like going on dates without committing to sex, which is REALLY nice.  Let me just say, I'm a sucker for a deep-voiced Chicago drawl.

P90X week 2 started saturday august 7th.

I lied, they are.  I need to stop getting hung up on unavailable men.
