We are not allowed in our classrooms until Monday, because that's when construction will allow us in. But last I peeked into the band room, they put a new delivery of furniture inside. While we were getting ready before we went out on our second night in LA, we watched the movie Swingers, to get us in the mood. We all went out to a restaurant called "Mexico City". I was excited as I was on my way to Los Angeles, but honestly a little hesitant. But my fears quickly waned. LA is different than home, but it's not Mars. Despite the horrible traffic and insanely high price of things including gasoline, LA is actually pretty laid back. It's a tolerant place, very accepting, and there's just a ton to do.
