So I got a robot rejection letter this morning. Under Review status must've lasted around 24 hours. I thought it'd be like a punch in the stomach, since it's my first rejection and I adore Blueburt so much. It was more like a pinch on the arm. No biggie, which is weird. I have no idea how I did it, but I managed to delete/lose ALL of my So Cold fan fiction, (which IS a big deal,) all of my Blueburt pictures, and all of my super-early work on The Second World. I had all of these in different files, and now said files have mysteriously disappeared off the face of the earth. ( ( Read more... ) -
The Most Self-Centered Post I'l Ever Make
I miss Pandora.com. Not because I never have internet, but because they just don’t play in Mexico. Something about artists not wanting their stuff stolen, which isn’t too surprising. But this means I have no Vast, Plumb, Imogen Heap, Filter, The Section Quartet, et cetera. I never realized how much I depended on Pandora for my music until now.

Okay, so apparently the internet in Oaxaca does have Wifi. Even though it’d be faster AND easier to just hook up the computers directly, like we assumed they did. People are weird sometimes.
Exciting news: I have broken 20,000 words in The Second World, and the first three chapters are nearing a complete-ish condition. *Happy dance*
