Wandering by off friendsfriends, hope you don't mind the drop-in. :) The deleted scenes are spread over all the discs and associated with each episode directly, so you'll have to Netflix each disc in the season to see all of them. That's for both seasons 2 and 3.
Though the question was already answered, I just wanted to put in a good word for all the extras. Once you've seen the original episodes, the commentaries are a great thing to watch. I loved that inside insight and once you get more into the show (and maybe the fandom), you'll be glad to have seen them.
Actually, I'd say screw Netflix and just look around for a sale on the discs (I think Target recently had a sale on S2). It's SO worth owning and you're definitely going to want to go back another time to re-watch. I rented the short S1 and S2 from Blockbuster and DL'ed all of S3 but in the end, I purchased all three seasons. You won't be sorry and in the end, you'll save money (from not renting them first).
I definitely plan to buy the DVDs when I can afford them. For the time being, I've just been rewatching them on Netflix instant-play for seasons 1-3 and NBC.com for season 4.
I mainly plan to rent the DVDs so I can watch the deleted scenes. I realllly want to see them, and I don't want to wait until I can buy the DVDs.
