House Update

Well... Here's the new scoop. The house I had my heart set on (just a little bit) is now off the market. As in sold. Phooey. We did end up looking at a few others though

Considering we started with a list of over one hundred... We've already narrowed the search quite a bit. I'm really leaning in the direction of the big, restful yard...
Of course, that means I'd have to do yard work. I think I might like that.

That's actually what I was thinking while reading it. I love big happy yards. It's one thing I really like about the place we're living. It would be improved with about 1/2 the dog population though :)

Livable houses can be improved over time. Land however does not grow.

Must be the Irish in us that makes us long for land of our own...
My fave so far is on .25 acres. Not too bad for in town and under $100,000.

Sounds awesome. Truly, you probably don't want much more than a 1/4 acre. Beyond that, you enter too big for a shovel, too small for a tractor territory.
