New Orleans. There's a lot to say about it. It was more like a 2 part trip, one part being the city itself, and the other part being the conference and the people. Alas I came home sick, haven't been able to get out of bed nearly all day, and so I'm in no real state to deconstruct my time.

Darn I need more meds.

I'm up before sunrise. Booya. After a little bit of stress trying to change my flight to avoid Denver, I'm off to Louisiana. Why? Because I need my fill of southern hospitality. And I have to go in search of the perfect ice tea recipe. Oh right, and there's a conference ( Read more... )

This morning was a flashback to before I ever left. I was up early to go to work, thinking I might actually be early, and my car was frozen all over. I realized that not driving my car much at all is a great way to avoid issues like frozen windshields. By then I just might be on time, and the wonderful 101 was backed up with an accident. Procrastination is getting the best of me. Maybe this is some kind of sick mental thing where I don't want school to end. If I just write this essay it will be over. So I'm a little worried about next quarter. I know it's early and I at least finish this quarter before worrying about the next one, but I can't help it.
