His heart was pounding as he raced through the darkened streets. No one was about, no sounds just silence and a feeling of dread. Continuing down the street he had the feeling that he had to get somewhere. Someone was waiting for him, counting on him. The more he ran the longer the street seemed to become ( ... )

He heard the coughing and headed that direction, where he saw a familiar brunet boy sprawled out on the floor. With all that had been happening, it was hard to tell if the boy was familiar because he actually knew him, or because he was paranoid and reminded himself that he had to remain careful in these disruptive times.

"Welcome. Are you alright?" he asked. There seemed to be only one newborn, so Fugue dropped a bundle and tugged away a towel from the remaining one. Then he held it out, offering it to the boy. "You can use this to wipe yourself off. I'm guessing you might feel a little disoriented since waking up."

Sora finished coughing up the liquid in his lungs before blinking a bit bleary eyed at Fugue before launching himself at him and wrapping his arms around him in a hug. He'd temporarily forgotten that he was currently naked as he was just happy to see Fugue alive.

"I'm glad you're ok!"

Fugue gasped in shock, falling backward as the boy tackled him with a hug.

"Wh-what!?!?" He couldn't help his confusion, but there was another part of him that felt somewhat relieved that the boy was so happy to see him. "Err, thank you--yes, I'm alright." Just slightly under his breath, he added, "For now..."

All the same, he couldn't exactly remember the boy and asked afterward, "So you remember being here before? In that case, what's your name? What is the last thing you recall of me?"

Waitasec, he had this all backward, didn't he? Shouldn't it be the newborn asking all the questions? But in a way, it didn't really matter--the boy seemed happy enough to see Fugue, and that washed away some of the paranoia. If only a little bit.

Sky hadn't meant to throw Fugue backwards and let go quickly after it happened.

"Sorry for knocking you over I'm just glad to see you." He hadn't heard the for now part as he offered a hand to help Fugue up. When Fugue asked him his name a slight sadness crossed his face.

"It's me Sky and....the last thing I remember isn't exactly a great memory. I don't know exactly what happened...but Snow and the others were demanding answers and attacked you...I guess I got in the way....."

The memories of that fight were fuzzy but clear enough for him to remember bits and pieces of it. It was only then that he rememberd one essential part about being born in Edensphere and his cheeks turned a bright red before diving for the towel he had previously been offered.

"Eh...sorry about that..." He was flustered as he tried to tie the towel around his waist to try and get at least some of his dignity back.
