Lea was certain that The Bazaar changed along with the Wilderness. Every time he went there, he found something new, something he hadn't seen last time. Today it had been the little sandwich shop tucked away in a far corner that he was sure hadn't been there last time. But the delicious roast beef on wheat certainly made him hope it was still there next time.

He rounded a corner, sucking a spot of mustard off his thumb, when he heard the unmistakable sound of gunfire. Now, Lea was pretty certain that guns were not something he'd dealt with often in his past life, at least going from what he'd seen in his memories. It appeared that the people he'd been in cahoots with used the same sort of strange...magical weapons, as it were...that he did. And when the angry man with the white hair had fired his gun in the elevator, Lea had known what it was, but he had the strange feeling he'd never actually seen one up close before then. Having heard one up close, however, Lea knew the sound easily, and he lifted his eyes, the mustard on his thumb forgotten.

"What in...?"

The Bazaar was utter pandemonium. He sidestepped to avoid being trampled as a man dashed past him, howling in fear, and then pressed himself against the building when there was more gunfire. What the hell was going on?

Standing at about 6'3", Lea towered over most of the panicked crowd, and at the fulcrum of the mess, he spotted a strangely familiar thatch of white hair. ...It was Anger Management Boy. He felt like he shouldn't have been surprised, somehow, and after seeing that horrific memory where the man had literally torn a group of children apart, he really wasn't. He hadn't judged the man then, but he would sure as hell judge him now. Lea didn't have to be close to the carnage to know that there had to have been severe casualties.

He thought quickly--Kagerou was at work at this hour, and Rosalind should have been at the lab. A quick scan of the crowd told him that Toushi wasn't involved, since he was pretty sure he could spot the kid from six hundred yards with that traffic-cone-orange head of his. And Simon was probably at the medical center, too. Lea wasn't concerned about Dash--he had a feeling if anybody could handle something like this, it was him--and so, deciding that since nobody he really knew well was in the immediate line of fire it would be acceptable for him to vacate the premises, he turned to do just that.

Discretion was, after all, the better part of valor.
