Ever since I saw Donnie Darko I've grown obsessed with the damn story

I... I don' get it. Was half that stuff in the movie? Donnie couldn't conjure fire. And what was the artifact?

He didn't conjure fire magically, but when he burned down the perv's house he harnessed fire. Also, the "timelines" that he saw coming from people's chests were made of a liquid that resembled water.

The artifact was the big ass jet engine that fell into the house.

All of that stuff was in the movie...not in a literal sense, but it is applied in the movie. Frank and Gretchen are both manipulated dead, Donnie is the living receiver, the artifact is the jet-engine, etc.

Also, the Fourth Dimensional Construct (made of water) is the wall of water that separates Donnie and Frank...there's a ton of scenes where Donnie tries to get through the construct, like when he's in the bathroom stabbing it with a knife.

You can't find the password? It's the perv's street name...in level 2 when it shows his drivers license, mouse over where the address should be. When you see the address, think of the flower.

i think i gotcha. its really weird my math teacher was just mentioning about the different dimentions there is just yesterday and about the black hole and that whole thing. whoa. but i think i got what that meant now.
