Facebook is for tiny updates, LJ is for deeper stuff (my latest post, notwithstanding). Are you going to post notes or multi-comment things every time you want to talk at length?

Darn! Well, good luck. I paid for a lifetime LJ membership, and it still behaves more the way I like, so I'm mainly sticking with things over here. I mostly maintain the FB account out of self-defense.
