A WW2 based RP with starkandskinny - this is actually like the third time we've attempted to RP but the only one that seems to have gotten off the ground (so far). And SOOO I am being lame and posting my character profile for her to read. I had a friend in high school who was heavily into RPing. Somehow I could never get into a character that well without wanting to start over with a different one.

Well it's not like traditional pen-and-paper with a guide and dice and all that (I'm not sure if that's the sort of roleplaying you're thinking of) - it happens strictly over IM - all live - we choose whatever characters we want and go only by rules we set ourselves. It's more like interactive story-writing or something.

Yeah, I've seen those. My friend did that back in the days of RPG rooms on AOL. She had an entire AOL profile based on her character, which I think was part dragon. So a WWII game does sound like a step up, culturally speaking.

LOLLL yeah, there's none of that in this - I did go through a terrible fantasy stage when I was younger but I've grown out of that. There are a lot of bad roleplayers out there - a lot of it depends on one's writing ability.

Now I am admittedly more than a little rusty since I haven't written anything in many months and it's been almost two years since I roleplayed - not to mention it's an entirely new scenario for me (The last was some kind of strange film noir/horror/dystopian/mafia storyline which I still think was fantastic and would love to bring it into some sort of presentable medium one day.) BUT I am still excited.

ILUU BETHANY. Is there any way you could do one with a bigger picture? I can't really tell what's happening in these :( BUT I LOVE THEM ALL THE SAME

That's the problem--I can't keep them under 40kb unless I shorten it a lot. I can change it to him just getting hit in the head and make it bigger though.
