So we finally cleaned and organized the apartment. We're not done yet, but at least now it's... liveable. :D

So we started moving stuff into our new apartment yesterday ['we' being me, Ariel, my dad and my brother]. We knew we had a long day ahead of us because we needed to re-paint some of the apartment, clean it, move in furniture [which is most of what we need. Getting the keys for our new apartment on Wednesday. Unfortunately I won't be able to be there because I have work, but Ariel has a class in the university that day [meaning he'll be in Jerusalem anyway], so he'll be the one to receive two pairs of keys and take care of transferring the bills under our names.

A friend of mine from second year Photography has to write a paper about Into the Wild, in which he would like to refer to Thoreau's Walden, but unfortunately isn't too good in reading the English language. So I offered to translate and summarize a few chapters of his choice.

So hi Livejournal. I'm back, sort of, basically because I feel like I am posting too many text posts on my Tumblr, and that Tumblr isn't really a place to keep a written blog where you would expect serious comments on your thoughts.

Went to the bank today and found out I only have around 20$ left in my account [90 NIS]. I started with about 600$, which isn't much, but, you know, it was better than nothing. My real savings, 8000$ [not much, but enough for at least a 1st degree in a university, if I stay in Israel], are closed and cannot be ( Read more... ) -
