Not wanting to be the purveyor of negative thoughts but I think this is a really bad idea. Not moving out, but moving that far away. For a start you'd never go out and you'd barely ever see Ian. Practically it will be harder/more expensive for Ian to visit. Also and possibly more importantly, your mum. She wouldn't be able to visit nearly as often and you wouldn't be able to borrow the car as often, both of which would mean additional stress for her and you. I'm not saying I can't see the logic in moving out, I can, but that far? Sorry for negativity but thought it needed saying. It might still be worth it but I think these things are worth considering.
