Your LJ posts make me nostalgic for Eastern Europe in the early 90s.

Our milk bags never had a handle. That's impressive.

I forgot that you spent so much time here, I'm glad I could rekindle old memories. It may be odd to say, but from an economist/historian perspective, you were so lucky to get to see the beginning of the transition here.

You would love to see how things have changed (or in the case of small towns and villages, haven't changed at all).

I should have mentioned you can still get milk in a plain bag, it's the cheapest and still popular, but I tend to drop things on it, thus requiring extensive cleanup.

BTW did you have ciroks (seerocks)? Small chocolate covered cream cheese treats that you keep in the fridge. These things deserve their own post, I should get on that.
