Something happened this afternoon. I was walking towards the bus stop home along the royal mile. A man stopped me and asked if I wanted to enter a prize draw by taking a photo. Something for lonely planet. You take a photo and they take your email address and you might win a holiday. I wasn't really listening after he'd handed me the super cool

Isn't that the really intense and disturbing scene- with a long rape scene at the end? I was put off by not wanting to be made horribly miserable.

yes.

the rape scene - vile though it is - is not the disturbing part of the film.

the last (first) 3 scenes are utterly heartbreaking... a masterful reverse of hindsight.
