Spinach

Have successfully grown and eaten own spinach! Eight healthy leafy green plants growing in the garden now. We snip the larger leaves every couple of days or so, wash them lots and then eat them. They taste good - very outdoorsy. Reckon they will continue to grow for a couple of months, maybe more ( Read more... )

I've been told by a couple of people now that potatoes are easier to grow in large pots or tubs. Good luck!

I tend to stick with herbs and soft fruit in the garden. Never had the green fingers with veg. Just about to have some pork wrapped in out own sage with parma ham followed by our own gooseberries and icecream. Yum!

My organic pumpkin patch is currently blooming at the farm. We can swap home-grown veg :)
