11 days! I can't believe it's finally here. I can't believe you're actually going to be returning to New York with us.
I'm telling you, I just flipped the other day when I saw you'd called me but I couldn't hear you speak!

As for your Italian, it's dialectical and minimal, but understandable. People will know what you're talking about, but they'll probably laugh at you behind your back. They'll laugh at me too - my grammar is perfect but I sound like an American. And they'll most definitely laugh at Shari - non sa parlare italiano.

Dove abiti qui? L'hotel?

when i saw sisters i was like "omgshestalkingaboutusomgimissher!"
exactly like that.
i was talking to my dante professor and a friend of mine and they were all giving us ideas on free things to do in italy. i shall make a list. italy's going to beat up all our bank accounts.
oh, and i know latin - will that help me at all? lol.
