Hey everyone. I have a question. I'm pretty sure Gorey had one story about a man and a women who killed kids, but ended up in jail at the end. My professor that I told doesn't believe me, but I'm pretty sure it exists. I just can't remember the name of it, or which book it was in because I read it years ago :/ Does anyone remember it? Yep, he did. It was called "The Loathsome Couple" and you can find it in the collection "Amphigorey Also".

Well, they ended up in an asylum, if he wants to split hairs. But they did kill kids and got locked up. The story contains the memorable line, "They spent the better part of the night murdering the child in various ways".

"The Loathsome Couple," I think, is in Amphigorey Also, as well as its own little book. I forget the couple's names but they're suitably hilarious, in the Gorey fashion. Thanks for the reminder of this--think I'll re-read it later tonight!
