I've been following the news, but have nothing really substantial to say, beyond what I've already written in samtheeagle's comments.
I also recommend twistedchick, whose posts are usually US-domestic policy related, but who has been keeping an eye on US policy toward the war(s) in the Middle East.
Mainly, though, the whole business makes me so angry and frustrated and sad that I've been posting about lighter things, because I'm wound up enough about it all.
Also, on a side note, I have been adoring your photo posts.
Thanks for signal boosting these. It's on my mind as well, and if I can think of anything significant to add to the discussion, believe me I will make a post when I can find the time.
I'm with sushigrade on this one. I have friends that have recently returned from both places, and friends that seem to think all the blame lies with one side or the other. I don't have the energy to argue with any of them.
