It costs mucho dinero to do a money transfer from one bank to another (I think maybe the two different countries thing doesn’t help much either) so I’ve been withdrawing large sums of money from my bank account in the US of A and then immediately depositing it into my bank in France. Then I pay my rent with French check, no fees to take out money ( Read more... )

Robin's friend Todd has a small chicken farm in his backyard. Yesterday, Robin and I went with him to make a new acquisition. Two roosters-for free! I have this problem with sitting next to women on planes who are just itching to tell some poor, unsuspecting college student their life stories.
