It snowed in Jerusalem today, but the skies are clear here. What a weather oddity. You'd expect it to be the other way around.

Not at all. I got a call from a friend there. It was only a light snow, and Jerusalem is in the mountains.

Snow never lasts long in the city, anyway. Excepting Central Park, of course.
