on this trip i was told that one does not reach full maturity until one has children.
i became very angry and disturbed by this comment and have been allowing it to stew in my mind for weeks.

any thoughts or discussion on the question/idea: Does a person need to experience complete self-sacrifice to be mature? And what is maturity anyways?

i forgot to buy heavy-duty papertowels today. it rained. alot. i got two books from the library to read so i don't have to socialize. that's about all.

 my mom is taking down all of the framed and unframed paintings and drawings i did in college from my room and our house because she is semi-foster-parenting a teenager and social services has to "inspect" the house and there can't be any paintings/drawings of nude figures.
