Her Funeral is Today

I got up at 6am this morning to do laundry. My suit and other clothing won't get clean on their own and the t-shirt I own with a picture of a gerbil on it that says "I'LL BE YOUR FRIEND NO MATTER WHAT YOU STICK IN YOUR ASS" doesn't seem appropriate although my grandmother would give into laughter after a five-second sour look on her face

You should wear that shirt under your suit.

We didn't have a funeral for my mom for that exact reason - she was too happy of a person to have a boring, depressing, somber funeral. She much preferred we celebrate her life than mourn her death.

Hope the day is manageable.

Oh geez, I didn't read about your grammy until today. I loved my grammy with every thing I had and I miss her terribly. I know you loved your grammy just as much. I'm really sorry boo.

Hope you wore that t-shirt under your suit. My mother died when she was 79 and she owned a red lace bustier with matching G-string and garters. I didn't know she even knew what a G-string was...surprise! She said she wanted to be buried in it but I let my sisters & brothers bully me into putting it in the casket with her instead. At least she took it with her.
