Her Funeral is Today

I got up at 6am this morning to do laundry. My suit and other clothing won't get clean on their own and the t-shirt I own with a picture of a gerbil on it that says "I'LL BE YOUR FRIEND NO MATTER WHAT YOU STICK IN YOUR ASS" doesn't seem appropriate although my grandmother would give into laughter after a five-second sour look on her face

i second that.. i want a funeral like that.. with sad music that plucks at the hearts emotional strings like a harp...

i'm sure the services were nice. keep that chin up and just know in some way or another she will always be with you and a part of you everyday.

when i was a child, i told my mother that i would make sure she had the most beautiful flower arrangements at her funeral. i told her the whole area would be full of flowers.

she told me she didn't want a beautiful funeral - she wanted all of those flowers while she was alive, so she could appreciate it.
