We had a name for stuff like that in the Army. Well several expressions actually. One was cluster****. Then there was snafu (along the same lines.) Anyway you get the idea. That's how we did things the Army way.

Yes, but we didn't use it much. Typical army ****up was by far the favorite.
In my battalion 60% of the enlisted men and 40% of the officers were college graduates. Those numbers are not reversed. In the enlisted ranks we had an architect and a lawyer that I know of and a real Mafia minor boss. Says a lot about Army intelligence.
1965 to 1971 One involuntary enlistment. Damn few of us were there because we wanted to be!
