You know the lint that collects in the drier? Well I bought my wife a spinning wheel for Christmas. Now she can spin that lint into thread and use it to make cloth for new clothes. She was so happy she cried.

I haven't posted because there's not much to say. Retirement seems to take up all of my time.

We never met, but for the last 20 years we have been taking messages for her. They have been from friends and marketeers, the Republicans and charities. At one time, about 9 years ago she was involved in an auto accident and an adjuster kept leaving messages for her. This afternoon we pick up our Netherlands friend at the airport with our new car.

I've been scanning old photos.

The long range forecast is for another arctic air blast with 20 to 30 degrees below normal temperatures (that would be 0 to 30 f) just in time for the super bowl. So What.

We are in the full grip of winter.

I started to get Aunt Doris' old photos onto a hard drive and it is going quickly. The boss is making plans for our summer trip.

We got the trailer winterized just in time. It went to 25 (-4C) and will again tonight. Got the Christmas video done & posted. And that's about it.

There was a 5 minute filler on PBS last week. A man had stayed and not evacuated during Sandy in Brick Tsp. His house was on the shore. When all the houses around him were washing away and his was going he got through to the police. They asked him to use a magic marker to put his social security # on his arm. That's when it hit him.
