Got another job! I work at a mental hospital doing paperwork/takedowns on the graveyard shift. I wasn't too excited at first but it's not too shabby. Pays well too =). Going to go back to school also. There's plenty of time do study on shift between walking the rounds. Not sure what I'm going to study. after i didn't get into the navy i completely dropped my enlistment and started working at a place called CourtCall with my buddy Rudy. worked there for about a month and quit. didn't even get on the plane. they said i had exceeded my weight limit for induction into the navy. they said i could come back in a month. i don't know what i'm going to decide to do in life.

Had a physical readiness test yesterday. I actually made my mile and a half time which really surprised me. I got the situps but lagged on the pushups. I believe boot camp will be tough but not terribly hard. Leaving on Monday for the hotel and flying to boot on Tuesday. This weekend = party. You will all be missed. Lived at my dad's for 3 weeks. Worked at Ralph's for 1 week. Still hefty. Eichel came back and it was great to see him. Now just waiting to see Dan. Sounds like he's been doing pretty well. Moving to my dad's house for the remainder of my Delayed Entry Program time. I'm hoping I'll get healthier and develop some motivation and a sense of identity. I'll miss you guys. Just got back from a week-long tour of the land of Ire. The days were really really long and everything was very green. Dublin was interesting. Everybody's front door was a different bright color. The knobs were in the middle sometimes. Rumor has it they used to get so drunk at night that they could only tell their house by the color of the door. ( Read more... )

Dan's gone. We had a few days with him before he left. We did lots of fun things like hiking, and site seeing, and beachgoing. He requested that if anybody is going to send him mail they refrain from writing letters and instead draw pictures. in about a week and a half i've lost around 15 lbs. i haven't been exercising at all. i haven't started or stopped taking any pills or drugs. can anybody explain this to me please.
