I've been thinking about a new PC again. Mine is currently coming on its 3rd year with only minor tweeks (I doubled the ram to 1 gig about a year back). I'm reading this big book of stories by H.G. Welles, its quite interesting especially when you take into account when it was all written. For example I read a story today about tank warfare written in 1903. The realisation that got to me though was the fact the the titualar device in "the time machine" is analog. I'm having a conversation with my sister where ever message I send is a haiku. Some times i just need to be slapped.

Why must every friggin mp3 player with more then 8 gigs of storage space have all these fancy features for video or crappy cell phone games or what not? I really like reading a good review or discussion about something after I see/read/play it. helps me to look back and assess my snap judgments or really define what I liked or disliked. Sometimes it changes my mind other times it reinforces my beliefs but at the very least it makes me think.
