...this is a beautiful post, by the way. I'm starting to think of Soul Eater in the way I think of Bleach: I KNOW it's going to troll me, so I am NOT going to get too invested and tht way I'm just along for the ride to see how bad it gets.

I... I keep trying to think I'm dreaming and the past several chapters of the manga were just part of my nightmare and never really happened and I'm going to wake up soon and we'll still be around... 50-something. Or Ohkubo was high and he's going to retcon ASAP.
