The beach is pretty...but you have really long feet, dude!

Ha! Glad my long feet can entertain you! :D Actually, though, my feet are short (I wear US size 5 and a half). So for once in my life, they get to be long. Woot! Virtual feet are better than real feet. Okie, I'm gonna stop being silly now. :D

ICON. IS. PRETTTTTY. Zomg!

And feet--those are definitely mine. :D Did you take any "footsteps in the sand" pictures? I thought of it, but got distracted by the dead jellyfish. I didn't post that one, because it was kind of sad, and a little disgusting. But pretty in a way, too. You might have to look at it, in my next post. Although, the lighting has been terrible yesterday and today (thunderstorm).

Thank you! I had a sudden desire to remake some Mary icons and that is one of the results.

Oh, I went back and checked, and I actually did take a foot print in the sand photo! :D Its one of the photos I posted in my journal last year, right over here.

Hmm, the jellyfish pic sounds interesting. You've piqued my curiosity. ;-)

Yay beach pictures! *dances* It looks beautiful there. And I especially love the last shot - so atmospheric! :D

Hmmm... I won't be able to manage beach pics for a while, but I'm going to Wellington in a week or so for a conference. It's pretty boring there, from memory, but you might get a shot of the harbour, LOL.

Any pics at all sound interesting, my dear zaleti! I'm going to your journal right now, so I can tag it. I'm afraid I've missed your latest posts, but now I'll get notices. It's dummy-proof. :D Glad you like that last one. It's of Crystal Pier. I'll have to post more of it, later in the week. It was nearly destroyed in a hurricane about . . . 5? years ago. The other pier on the island had to be rebuilt. Johhny Mercer's Pier is now made from concrete. I expect it won't be collapsing in the next hurricane, but it's not as pretty as the crooked wood of Crystal Pier. I walked down there yesterday morning, but today it was storming. :( I listened to *Pride and Prejudice* on CD while I was walking. I always read Austen at the beach, but this is the first time I've "listened" to her. :D xoxoxox

So glad you like the feet, and the more somber pictures as well! I labeled that shot, "First Touch," because as soon as we got here, I ran down the water with my camera to record the first wave, as it touched my feet. Cheesy, I know. But tbh, I mistimed the first wave, so this is actually the third wave, or something like that. I had to be very patient! LOL. Btw, thanks for your recent emails! I laughed my ass off at the "men on vacation" photos!!! And that meme was very interesting, too! I like the randomness of the questions (how many keys on your keyring, for instance). You drive a scooter, hum? That's awesome. A two-wheel contraption? I've driven four-wheelers when I was younger (and had a couple of minor but unpleasant accidents). I can't imagine what would happen to me if I tried to ride anything two-wheeled, except a bike. And even the bike took some work. Long story, I will have to relate in the near future. :D
