i'm glad the good outweigh the bad. when it comes down to it, that's what you have to look for.

I've been meaning to email you but I've been lazy and haven't thought of much else to say other than that I'm sorry that you're feeling lousy and haven't any sleep. So, here I am, saying that. And hopefully sometime thsi weekend I'll think of more to say, too.

I got sucked into a TNG episode the otherd ay and totally wanted to talk to you so we could geek out together cause I didn't get to see the end and never knew what happened. Guinan was there, and the crew had seen this rift and they didn't know what it was...It looked like a wormhole, but wasn't. And so they ended up going through, or something, and Worf disappeared and there was the Enterprise C there, that disappeared 20 years earlier, with a female captain.

What in the WORLD happened in that episode? I must know.

I'm glad you have a Friday off, but I do miss you.

i also love the icon and can see the reference. and i'm sorry you've had such a shitty week (even though it might not look so bad when you weigh the good in). i can commiserate with the incoherence due to lack of sleep -- i've hardly slept all week... and the stomach pains, mine aren't gone yet. and i know it SUCKS. hopefully you can rest this weekend and let greg take care of you.

just goes to show that if you look for it, there are usually a lot more good things going on that you might realize. it makes me happy that you have the ability to find those good things in the midst of all the shitty stuff.

haha, i know. my nickname in high school for a while was "swiss miss". clever, because i'm not swiss at all and neither is the name heidi. but eventually i decided to make the best of having such dorky associations with my name, and i found this icon randomly and thought it was fitting.

it's always nice to meet another heidi. :)

[ indeed. i have only met two other heidis in my life. it always used to irk me as a child that my name was never on any of the things other names were ... well, except when relatives would visit from germany and bring me stickers, etc. ha. ]
