Either pxocean3 really was calling you a transexual, or they have little to no familiarity with the X-Men.
Technically, you should have said 'I'm an X-Man' X-Man being gender neutral and singular version of saying member of the X-Men Team (much like chairMAN of the board, etc.) Or else, if you give a shit about stupid PC shit, 'I'm a member of the X-Men,' since X-Men is a long standing team name, with no gender connotations whatsoever (they've had at least one female in every incarnation of the team that I can recall at the moment)
I am one part of the x-men, I can't say man because she is female, but then again men/him/excetera has become gender nutral over the centuries... we have to much time on our hands. and they always had at least mrs. summers even before she got her mrs. degree. LARP! larp larp larrrr-P.
