yeah im really liking those carnies, i hope they prove to be interesting and uh Barbossa (can't remember his name right now either) i think his power might be more than they are showing us now, just like Ando's power (hopefully)
MOHINDER IS NOT A MEDICAL DOCTOR!!!! you can say that again, i have a seering dislike for mohinder, i'm pretty sure it was after he lost his indian accent (all of a sudden)
i was so happy when claire's roomate was found dead i could barely stand a half an hour of her let alone have her live on for more than one episode, i'm digging her new crazy friend though
i still don't get the full extent to Tracy's power it's wayyyy too confusing
that's a good comparison Matt doing the Beatiful Mind way of ignoring, he needs to just get a grip for christ sake or his ass is going to get fired and dumped...again
i thought matt's mind sylar was hilarious, when he entered the circle of addicts it was priceless
It looks like tattoo portraits are our new comic books. Unfortunately, the tattoo artists aren't all that good. I had a hard time identifying Danko. Someone needs to call Kat Von D.
Also, I'm pretty sure that making Ando happily in love with his sister would have changed the past. Would Ando have gone with him to Las Vegas? Would he have still been taken in by the giant, criminal showgirl?
YES. Thank you. I've defended the Heroes Rules of Time Travel in the past, but the idea that you can literally change ONE thing, especially something as major as a fourteen year romantic relationship for a guy whose entire character is based on romantic misadventures, without there being any other effect is frankly insulting.
However, I am loving Sylar-as-Nathan. Adrian Pasdar is doing a great job of blending the two characters. The confusion...the vulnerability...the underlying confidence and drive.Agreed! I was totally surprised - in a very good way - at the way Adrian is playing this. (I don't give the writers any credit at all at this point, lol). I used the word innocence, but vulnerability is a good one, too - in some funny way, I think Adrian's Sylar-as-Nathan is the most interesting and frightening Sylar we've
( ... )
For the sake of my sanity, I am pretending that these writers are all new and trying to overcome the pile of poo left by previous writers. They have to change Adno a bit. I'll give them the opportunity as long as they're consistent from here on out.
I just had Cannoli from Mike's last week. So delicious.
i totally would not mind having sylar follow me around like that. god, he looked so hot! omg, capt barboosa freaks me out cause i still think he's t-bag from prison break. i squee'd when they showed a commerical for SUV and wentworth miller was in it. the knife guy has an awesome accent. just cause of that i like him :) hahahaha "Shit. That guy was even too evil for Sylar." i didn't notice the whole peter being sam from mystery spot. that's really interesting tho but idk, peter wasn't as heart breaking to watch as sam. where the f is mohinder in all of this?!? did he fall off the face of this planet? they didn't even show him in the preview for this season.
Didn't watch Prison Break, so the actor is a clean slate for me.
Peter isn't exactly Sam-like. Mostly he's just a workaholic who likes to tack things to his wall in an orderly manner. For me, everything winds up being related back to Supernatural eventually. I'm addicted. Maybe I should go to meetings with Parkman.
"For me, everything winds up being related back to Supernatural eventually." lol. a lot stuff will remind me of supernatural and it sucks cause i'll have to find someone that would understand and tell them about it
I followed the link to this Live Journal from Ninth Wonders. I loved the episodes last night. Peter is my favorite character and he really appears driven and more focused. I like the last scene with the tats of Clare, Peter and Sylar appearing. I hope it means a more focused story line like season one instead of jumping around like in other seasons.
Yeah, I'm not quite sure what all the carnies are about yet, either. And I still don't get what Captain Barbossa's power actually does...
Yeah, I wasn't too impressed that the writers immediately had Hiro change Ando's past because, as you pointed out, would he have gone with Hiro to the ends of the earth had he been in a relationship? I think not. And, he was also obsessed with Nikki. Would all of that have changed too?
I hate Matt. I hated Daphne even more so the fact that she wasn't mentioned, continuity issue or not, I'm not complaining.
AGREED on Sylar as Nathan. In that restaurant scene with Angela I thought both Adrian and Zach did great jobs of playing their own roles, but the opposite ones as well.
