Custody talk got me thinking. Who has Molly now? Doesn't seem like Mohinder does and Parkman's off in Africa, though he has her in four years. Am I forgetting something from last season (probable, really)?

And YAY ADAM!!!

Molly has been sent somewhere "safe." They mentioned it in passing once.

But speaking of Molly, what's up with Matt calling Daphne her mom? I kept expecting the kid to be all teenage and angsty and insist "She's not my mom." I mean, it's only 4 years in the future. And Matt doesn't even know Daphne yet.

1. Maya's also looking a lot freakin HOTTER than last year. Well, probably because she's not all dirty and her hair nasty all the time ( ... )

1. It probably helps that she's not crying all the time, too. Maybe someone prescribed her some anti-depressants.

2. And the Haitian stayed with him constantly, with his powers on, until a scar formed? I hate how retconning forces us to imagine so many strange scenarios. Why can't things just make sense?

5. But the hunger was for power and knowledge. Peter already had both.

6. At least we can count on Claire to embrace her angst. She was really only angry that Sylar had custody of little HRG, though. ;-D

1. Well, I mean, she had a pretty shitty go of it, no wonder she was crying all the time. Now she's in New York and her life is a huge improvement from running from border patrol, so...

2. Yeah, the Haitian would have to have stayed with him until the wound healed normally and the scar formed. I said it's a stretch.

5. Not enough. He wanted to "see all the variables, to understand it" so that he can stop whatever is going to happen.

1. But her brother is still dead, and it was kind of her fault. And she still has this horrible, deadly power. Maybe she shouldn't be *quite* so chipper.

5. I just don't see why he had to cut Nathan's head open to see that. He didn't have to open the watch. And I kind of doubt that all of the answers to four years of history can be found in Nathan's head.

Perfectly said. Like Claude did in the first season, Peter needed Sylar to show him exactly how his ability worked before he could activate it. It's actually a great showing of continuity. It reminds the audience that even though Peter is constantly around abilities, some require extra knowledge before they can be used. And until he gains that knowledge, they're useless/unknown to him.

Peter didn't need Claude to show him how to become invisible. He did that without even realizing it had happened. He needed Claude to teach him how to be able to control it consciously.

Even assuming that Sylar's powers are not of the always-on variety, Peter should have had them activate once or twice just by accident, in times of stress. All of his other powers have appeared that way; it isn't true that he needs knowledge to use them. Even when he was in Ireland with no memory of having *any* powers, he was still able to access them when under duress.

Logically, Peter should have been able to figure out how to use Sylar's power on his own. After all, Sylar was able to do it the first time without instruction.

Oh my God, I posted the same thing about the scar! Yes, I thought I was the only one bugged by it.
Yeah, I miss murderous SYlar but he still pawns for me. And the way he just switched emotions when he went alone in the room with Peter. And I know this sounds bad and it was sad but I actually smiled when his son was killed because I knew that something was going to happen..
And HRG as Sy's son... lmao. But I have some wild theories about the show to, so hey!
