I am staying at the Philippines' University, which is in north Manila, the campus is huge, it's like a green peaceful village, very calm compared to the hectiness of the city. This is a picture from the Sunday school:

טל כתב יפה מאד ונכון מאד. הבריחה האמיתית היא לא להגשים את מי שאת ולהכנע לתכתיבי החברה. כבר אמר איש חכם שהדרך הכי טובה להפטר ממרבית העול שיש עלינו היא ללמוד להתעלם ממה אחרים חושבים עלינו (או מה אנחנו חושבים שהם חושבים עלינו).

Wow, thank you, I had no idea my choice would actually act as an inspiration to someone, I am honoured.
I think the real hard part was quitting my "good" job. A lot of my LJ readers sure know it took me a long while to get to this conclusion and it didn't happen by myself, I had others pushing me (I mean, helping...).

(Not so sure about the princess part, with all the sweat odour I am spreading lately...)

Every day that you find a beautiful, young woman with the guts and insistence to go half way around the world, leave her own world behind her, and take on some really fierce training regimes so she can become what she's always wanted. It is truly inspiring - I can't wait till you get back and show me everything you've learned.

I'd love to show you what I am being taught, since it is completely different from anything else I know. Besides, we never really crossed blades before (-;
