Um. So I set out to put my understanding of Tavros' relationships with his fellow trolls down on paper since I'm planning on trying to RP him, and it got really, really long. Stupidly long.
So, ok. Let's do this from the top of the hemospectrum to the bottom.

I'm looking at two places! Both are small and prose-based, but their premises are awesome and relevant to my interests. I reserved him at entanglement_rp, so I'll give that a try and see how it works out, but I'm also really liking the looks of babylonwood. Because Tavros definitely needs to encounter cruel, conniving fairies in a horrorish setting.

*nodnodnodnodnod* I play Gamz at Gargleblasted, but we are almost full up on the troll cast, alas!

Yeah, I would have been all over that if I could! The game is probably too big for me anyway, though.

It's really interesting reading your interpretation of Tavros.
Do you see him as emotionally aware of other people's feelings towards him?
I've always seen him as being quite unaware of that sort of thing, except when it's negative. It's interesting how you see him as disliking Karkat due to his being mean and yelling, while (at least to my interpretation) all the other characters very quickly write off the mean/yelling part of Karkat as not important, and actually quite like him. But not Tavros. Man, he has a lot of people he's trying to avoid.
Question:
How low was Tavros self-esteem before Vriska's (first) attack? Still really low, or has it significantly decreased? Both?
Tavros is really an avoid/ignore/repress character, generally. Retreating into a dream world is kind of a clear example of this. But right before his death, he was all confrontation and action. Is this something in him that Vriska inspires, to a degree, or what was his motivation for finally being pushed into action?
