life can be very intimidating at times. worry is always present for pain just around the corner. fear and frustration seem so prevalent in our time. it's so hard to keep it together when faced with the kind of distress that we see so often

this is very descriptive of how i and many of my friends currently feel. do you mind if i repost it with credit to you?

no problem. i suppose it depends on what you're doing. i'd choose uc davis over smc as uc davis is a university and can offer more accredation than smc, as it is a community college. i couldn't tell you about many of the classes because i am not going there full-time, rather, i am taking art classes to prepare my portfolio. while smc is certainly a good community/junior college, i wouldn't substitute it for a university education.

well, i'm going to smc as preparation for applying to a private art college in seattle, which will eventually lead me to a career in art.
