That ending there is rather chilling. I almost want to see more with that. It's really a fun story.

dragonyphoenix’s original did make a good jumping-off point, and your treatment here got me wondering about what other things might be done with this idea.

I really loved Spike’s crack about “the Ignited One”. The concept may have been original - a vampire child as the Big Bad - but the actual effect was enormously lame. The part where he “kissed sunlight” was the character’s best moment.

Have to check out that drabble, but this was great! Enjoyed the little undercurrents and Spike's inability to ignore Willow's thin nightie in spite of his nightmare. Well done.
