Tiny Luffy who took Shanks' words to heart and doesn't get angry over small things anymore (the only thing that is worth getting upset over is if someone tries to hurt your friends - oh how Luffy took that to heart :D).
And like I said in my post, I think Ace's farewell to Dadan had a lot to do with forgiveness.
Bwah, Garp totally abandoned Tiny Non-Rubber Luffy all alone in the jungle at some point. Wow, Garp. o_O
Ace asked about Garp's grandson, but I don't think he expected to actually meet him. And when he does, he certainly doesn't allow himself to trust him.
Actually, seeing this Ace compared to the tiny Ace we saw together with Garp earlier - it seems Ace actually did let his guard down a bit with Garp. Letting his angst show. He definitely wouldn't do that with the bandits, and I've got a feeling he might not do that with Sabo, either, so that he confided in Garp is interesting.
Luffy taking things Shanks said to heart is just as;dkfjah;sd so much love!

That makes a lot of sense.
Ace and Garp's relationship breaks my heart but also reduces me to a pile of mush. They loved each other. They were family - and that panel in chapter 0 when baby!Ace sees Garp and just... lights up he's so happy to see him...
And then at some point after that Ace broke and Garp didn't do anything or couldn't do anything - and even then Ace trusted Garp possibly more than anyone; I can't see him sharing his existential angst with Sabo.
The thing that has me confused is that when Ace dies *god I still; can't read that chapter with out sobbing my eyes out* but he indeed tells luffy to say goobye to dandan but he refers to dandan as He / Him so that had me going wait huh? but maybe it's a translation mistake that could also be it.
I think that these flashback are kind of hard and unfair really, I mean we learn allt his now and it just hurts knowing that we already know how is life is going to end ((I still love tiny ace and luffy though cause they are freaking adorable)) but I just have a feeling that alot of the things we saw don't add up anymore with these flashbacks.. or maybe I just have lack of brain?
and yes. Finall someone else who feels the same about sabo, I have fear indeed that it won't end well unless he already left before ace or something and he's in the new world.. but I doubt it. :(

That's a translation mistake. Japanese doesn't usually use the words "he" och "she", so when translating, you have to know from the context which it's supposed to be. And the scanlators who translated that chapter didn't know yet which Dadan was, so they picked the wrong pronoun for her.
And of course Ace's story adds up! Odacchi knows what he's doing. It's just that we fans tried to read a lot of things into what little we knew before, and the stuff fans made up doesn't add up with this flashback. But that can't be helped. ^_^
LMAO. Yeah I figured it would be a translation mistake still maybe through the tears and slightly still pain of ace's death I was to stuborn to see. XD or something like that. :) thanks for the explanation.
And I know tha the story adds up cause Odacchi is god but my fangirl brain is probably just getting an overload on tiny!ace and tiny!luffy, I was merely summerazing my own thoughts. ^^; but in a comment that might ot be the best place to do so.

And the way it all ended...
It just sucks!

Whatever happens with Sabo is going to suck and I really don't want to get attached to him.
I suspect it's already a lost cause. orz
