We had so much to do this past weekend. Winston butchered 2 hogs, one about 600lbs and another nearly 700lbs. I really wish I had taken some pictures. The process of butchering a hog is very labor intensive! Winston hung it (with chains) and halved it, then quartered it. It's hanging in the walk in freezer now. In a few days, we will have

While I know butchering goes on, I still don't want to see it...it could drive me back to vegetarianism....

I was lucky enough to be gifted a kitchenaid in 98 or 99 and in trade i had to make cookies and cakes. I had NO problem with that. i use it less often since i live mostly alone and dont work anymore but if i had ppl to cook for i would.
