To the Weather God in Charge

It's bloody May now! I guess we have to accept the daily raining, but how about some warmth? You shouldn't have to wear long underwear and a woolen jumper when out in the woods for a few hours at this time of the year.

Your displeased, Eir. (Or yours. Whatever)

Tell me about it. There was snow on the fells the other week, and we couldn't get the plants in the ground because of frost. *Grumbles*

WE are getting summer when it should be nearly winter! Mid May and the daytime temps are still 21-22C, with a few days much warmer. Lots of sun and almost no rain. Nights are cooler though - but when do I actually get to wear my nice new winter jacket? *sigh* They are forecasting "showers" a few days this week, but still around 18-20C daytime.

Our weather god is on crack, too. Everytime we get a break in of warm, beautiful spring weather... he decides "nope! Sorry. You get cold again, tomorrow!" Yeaaaaah! I think weather god in charge needs to be fired!

It's been like that here, too: it's snowed within the past two weeks. I seem to be the only one I know who isn't complaining about it. For me, it's the infernal heat we get here--around 100 in July and August--that is unbearable, even if it is "dry heat". It's exhausting.
