Well. That sucked. Got told today at work that all of Customer Care will be redundant by mid-September. Apparently, we're being outsourced to a company based out of "North Ryde and Manila". Partly due to cost, and partly due to performance

Another company where I phone up and talk to someone who doesn't speak English :( I had to phone paypal Australia the other day and I could not understand word one from the assistant.

It does suck. They're digging their own graves by outsourcing overseas. I wash my hands of it! Hmph!

And yeah - not a brilliantly shiny time this past year. But still - Mama is a recruiter, so I get more help than someone else in my situation would. There's definitely that to be grateful for!
