Heh - a couple of people have said things about a follow up, and it has certainly encouraged the plot bunnies in my head - something might just come together eventually ;)

I love this. He can say anything he wants about lines and being professional, but the thought of her pregnant with another man's child would drive him crazy. I can definitely see this as a catalyst for a big conversation. Well done.
