Ooh. You mean, a floor-length dress? I'd love to see you in one! However, it stinks that the one you want to wear doesn't fit. Um, maybe it could be altered? Or maybe you could find a tailor to help you make a new, simple, and inexpensive one?
Yeah, a proper fancy schmancy one like I had to wear for my graduation balls/proms!
I doubt it could be altered, and I wish I kne where to find a tailor because that would be perfect, as I hate strappy dresses, I like sleeves because the top of my arms are the bane of my life!
go check out all the prom/bridal stores now. Prom season is over, and the summer/fall wedding rush on bridesmaid dresses is also over, so they should all be having sales right now. Also check out any department stores that have a dress section. We bought the bridesmaids dresses for my wedding in a post-prom sale for $20 each off the rack in a department store.
Yeah, good plan. I'm going to look before they start selling the party season stuff, but it's really hard to find my size, most stores don't go up that high :S Fingers crossed!
