For those of you who didn't see Jon's last entry, his grandfather died yesterday morning. He had been battling lung cancer since December 2005, and we found out a few weeks ago that it had spread to the brain. He died peacefully, surrounded by family, which is all any of us can ask for. The problem with working half days is that it's hard to get motivated when I get up at 6:30 but don't have to go in until noon. I have decided to let Alex watch tv for one hour a day. Sesame Street is the reason that Jon knew the alphabet at 18 months.
