It's been an eventful week or two of technology. Over the weekend, my laptop died a terrible death. It's really just the wrong time of year and the product cycle to deal with that. As far as I can tell, the mainboard has a bad solder joint. I pulled the hard drive and sent the laptop to corporate IT for evaluation. Other good news -- it failed ( Read more... )

Well, a few weeks have past; everything is running fine.

I haven't touched the pulleys, and at this point am unlikely to.  Too much excitement in the past week cut into my car hobby time.  I do note a few things:

1)  I'm going to have to replace the spark plugs before bringing the car in -- recommended plugs for my setup are two heat ranges cooler ( Read more... )
