I have been a real slacker about posting lately. Part of it was laziness and part was illness.

I was on vacation all last week, as I said, and I think I left off with Tuesday, as far as updates go. Wednesday I went to see Mom. On Thursday Gitta and I went to the Thanksgiving buffet at Golden Corral. It was very crowded, but the food was good ( Read more... )

Saturday, after I visited Mom, I picked up Gitta and we went to dinner at Golden Corral. We had live entertainment, too. Sitting a few tables from us was this dude wearing a sweat-stained gray t-shirt, jeans and suspenders and a camouflage hunting cap, talking about religion in a very loud voice to the guy across the aisle from him ( Read more... )

Last night the light bulb in the bathroom burned out. It's in a ceiling fixture. I was too lazy to go down to the basement to get the step stool, so I stood on a wobbly old chair. Don't try that at home, kids. The chair collapsed and I went down. I still have a slight limp today.
