Brother Goat got both decks done. They look absolutely great. Booch is running him back to WVA on Tuesday and I must say the Highcienda will seem empty w/o him around. Hes thinking of moving down soon, so it may not be a long absence. I cooked cornish hens on the smoker, Hawaiian and Italian and they were very tasty. Summers end....
Well the past week has been nice and cool with low humidity. Its actually seeming to change to Fall. Today its finally rainy and gray. The temps have been nice but, like most of Summer, its been drier than a popcorn fart around here. The grass is crunchy brown and the ground puffs up in dust clouds when you walk on it. This weekend made me wonder WTF it couldnt have been this way all summer? Warm, not hot, a nice breeze and practically NO humidity. I have to work but at least its 4-12. I got Booch listening to Mary Chapin Carpenter and shes come to love her. We got to see her in concert a few weeks ago and now Booch really wants to get her new CD THE AGE OF MIRACLES. Well, barring some miracle, The bumbler will be officially terminated Friday. Its possible, though not likely he may get a temporary extention of the inevitable, but highly unlikely. Ok, so as mentioned, Bumblenuts is no more. Next Friday he will be history, either out of the government or transferred permanantly away fro us. Thats golden. It also looks as if Wisecarver will go down too. Hes still going to fight legally, not to get his job back but to try and get a settlement for improper termination.
