Last weekend we went to the ruins of Iximche, I climbed every structure and took careful pictures.  I´ve bought spanish books in Antigua, ones that I´ve been looking for but couldn't find in the States.  Because of a stupid car rental company, we had to postpone our trip to Xela (Quetzaltenango).  There, we will wander markets and buy 'cosas ( Read more... )

Here I am, at a small cafe internet, where it costs only Q1.50 for half an hour. All that I can really say is that the food is wonderful -- iced hibiscus tea, tamales, chocobananos, gomitas -- all food that I remember and love.

Well, in a few hours I'll be on a plane to Miami International Airport (so large and confusing -- not my favorite), then off to La Aurora, el areopuerto en La Ciudad de Guatemala.
