I think it's gorgeous. Yeah, wow, that pen looks like a good'un. But i think this is beautiful. The design on his arm, and the subtle mirroring of the design on his pantcloth is beautiful. This seems liek a bit of a different approach to a pic for you? I haven't seen many like this.. I think you pulled it off beautifully :3

It's an amaaazing pen. It's a brush pen, but a very fine one, and the tip isn't felt or the fiber used in copics.... I can't quite figure out how it's made, but it's lovely.

And yes, this is a little different from my regular fare, isn't it? ^^; That's the biggest reason I was nervous about it. I can't stop my brain from thinking it's somehow cheating to just fill in flats and call it done. |D

Gorgeous. It looks like a woodblock print. A good professional artists supplier should carry the brushes you're looking for, or would be able to order them for you.

Thank you! I hadn't thought of the similarity to woodblock, but you're right, and that's a great compliment. ^^ As for getting more of those pens... I think what I'll do is see if I can request some from one of the various asian-stuff importers on the internet. They're so cheap (less than a buck) that I doubt they'd be included in any fine art supply catalogues, even Japanese ones.

I've seen them at my local stationers. They are definitely available.

I love that woodblock look. Even the colouring looks like antique printers inks --- sort of soft and muted.

Oooh, really? I'm pretty sure I can't get them around here, but maybe it's different where you live. The one I have looks like this and the tip is pretty small, and not made of felt or the soft foam stuff like copic markers, but is more like plasic somehow (almost like it's a tiny plastic cone shape, split at the point into several pieces to make it like a brush). Is there anything like that where you live?

*passes out from beauty* I want your table to be near me so i can stare at your art!

There's just something uplifting/emotional/simplicity/depth/beauty about the whole experience of viewing your style. High praise, my friend, high praise for you which you deserve!

I'll be sharing Fevereon's table with her at Katsucon... I hope we're not too far from each other! (and I hope the con folks are okay with us sharing... I don't think we've informed them that we are ^^;)

I haven't anything useful to say except, that it really is pretty.

If this was on the cover of a book, I'd probably buy without knowing what was inside, because that's what I do sometimes. I buy books for their cover sometimes. (It's a plus if the story is worth reading too...and this looks like it would be a good story)

Thank you! I do that with books, too - I actually discovered one of my favorite authors because I liked the cover on the first book of hers I ever picked up. XD

Ohh, thank you so much! By the way (I've never had occasion to ask anyone this before now), how do you make those little hearts? What's the code for them?
